Welcome to my site. Today I want to share a little about my writing other than my three books. When I was in the army stationed in Oklahoma, I had the privilege of writing a once a month news column for our battalion paper. Then I left my public writing alone for about 45 years. As a widower I joined a senior writer group and began my family history. Each week the moderator gave us a subject to write about, like “What was the first home you remember living in like? Did your family have holiday traditions for Christmas, or say the 4^th of July?” Your will find more of these questions in my earlier blogs.

I have had poems published in anthologies, spiritual articles in a Christian paper, and several humorous life experiences included in a Country magazine.

This week’s humor: When the teacher asked the class if their family had any Christmas traditions, one student said, “No, we just do the same thing every year.”

A hole has been found in the nudist camp wall. The police are looking into it.

The man who survived mustard gas and pepper spray is now a seasoned veteran.
